Leading up to Earth Hour on the 27th March naked Retreats will be organising a series of activities and special packages during the naked Green Initiative Month to promote sustainable awareness amongst our communities.
The Green month will kick off on the 8th March with the naked BIG Litter Pick week and the annual GECKO programme. We will run an eco-design competition in collaboration with the Raffles Design Institute, local tree planting activity and conservation projects with a local environmental group. This year we are involving more schools, students, teachers, parents, local environmental groups as well as local villagers. And in collaboration with other Shanghai based like-minded companies and organization in the hope to reach more people and create a greater impact within our communities.
Over this month, naked will launch a series of green packages for families, individuals, schools and companies so no matter how old you are or what you are doing, you can participate in our Green initiative month.

In collaboration with Greennovate, the GECKO programme for the local schools in Moganshan area will be launched on the 8th March. This will run throughout the months of March and April as well as later in the year, aiming to reach over a 1,000 children from local and international schools.
naked Retreats is also teaming up with Raffles Design Institute Shanghai to launch an eco-design competition encouraging our future designers to create products in an eco-friendly manner, challenging their thinking process from the materials used to the production process, wastage, energy consumption and more!
nGIM will conclude with a practical and fun “Eco Action” weekend. Together with Roots & Shoots Shanghai, we offer our guests a weekend full of educational workshops to learn easy ways to live a greener life. On Saturday we will gather around our bonfire to celebrate Earth Hour during our Starry Starry Cocktail night.
