How to get to Moganshan?
Moganshan is located roughly one hour north west of Hangzhou and is just under 2 and a half hour drive from Shanghai. For driving directions that you can print out in both English and Chinese

Where do we get picked up at the Hangzhou train station?
On your arrival at the hangzhou train station arrivals hall, please look out for the big naked logo. The details of your driver will be sent to you prior your departure.

Where in Moganshan is naked Retreats?
The naked bungalows are located in the small village of Sanjiuwu ( 395) half way up the south eastern side of Moganshan. It is tucked away from the tourists paths and is only a 20 – 30 minute walk up to the main parts of Moganshan.

Where is the Bamboo Bungalow?
The Bamboo Bungalow is situated in the middle of a bamboo forest and is not accessible by road. You are able to drive your car to a parking lot which is about 200 stone steps http://www.nakedretreats.cn/Bamboo_Bungalow

Where is the Bamboo Studio?
The bamboo studio is located right next to the bamboo bungalow

Where is the Purple Ridge Lodge?
The Purple Ridge Lodge is located near the start of 395 and is accessible by car. It is about a 15 minutes walk from the Bamboo Bungalow and the Bamboo Studio

Is there nearby accommodation for drivers?
There are hotels at the foot of the mountain in Moganshan Zhen where drivers can stay for about RMB 100- RMB 150 per night. It is about a 15 minutes drive to the houses. naked can do the bookings for you if required.

Is there an ATM close by?
No. The closest ATM is a 20 minutes drive away and none of the restaurants or hotels take credit cards. If you plan to be taking a few meals around Moganshan make sure you have cash.

What time do I check in and check out?
Check in time is at 3pm and check out time is at noon. If we do not have other groups arriving immediately afterwards, we are happy to extend the check out time till 3pm. Please inquire at the time of booking

Who do we look for once we arrive?
Your arrival will be met by a naked staff member. Judy Zhu is our permanent naked resident and will be able to assist you during your stay with us.

Is there a parking area?
There are spaces outside the Purple Ridge Lodge for parking between 3-4 cars. At the bottom of the steps leading up to the Bamboo Bungalow and Bamboo Studio there is an area to park cars. However, this area does sometimes fill up with bamboo during harvesting season so please do let us know in advance if you are taking your own car so as we can help arrange any alternatives.

Are you pet friendly?
Yes we are very much pet friendly as long as they are not dangerous and will not eat our neighbours’ chickens and ducks! We have 4 of our own dogs who live up in the mountains.
